Frequently Asked Questions

  • We offer a range of solutions designed to meet your needs—whether you're just getting started or scaling something bigger. Everything is tailored to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • I have initiated GLP-1 drugs (Trulicity, Ozempic, Mounjaro) for countless patients in the NHS.

Unfortunately however, in the NHS, many of the clinicians prescribing these drugs do not themselves have personal experience of exercising and a diet conducive to health and performance.

Many are limited in that they can only offer generic exercise advice such as ‘do 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise every week.’

I have even heard clinicians mention to patients they should ‘lift tins of food in the kitchen’ to substitute for lack of any serious resistance training!

Unfortunately, this is a recipe for muscle loss and a very weak, frail physique. The fact is, weight loss without the right type of training at the same time will likely result in loss of lean (muscle) tissue.

We want men who take GLP-1s to maintain muscle so they actually look good and stay healthy. Muscle is critical to healthy ageing and looking aesthetically appealing, so we aim to make sure you hold on to as much of as it possible.

All prospective patients will have a comprehensive consultation, and if they are deemed a good fit for GLP-1 medication, will be given advice and guidance from both a medication safety and lifestyle aspect.

Patients who are not deemed a good fit for therapy will not be supplied the medication - safety is paramount.

  • Like every medication, GLP-1 injections can cause a number of side effects. The most common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, bloating, and other gastro-related symptoms. These can often be mitigated by taking certain measures and can fade over time. More serious adverse events include pancreatitis and possibly NAION.

All patients considering a GLP-1 injection will be screened thoroughly and briefed on the possible side effects. Patients who are not deemed suitable for therapy will not be supplied the medication.
